If the parties to an Intervention Order decide that it is no longer necessary or the terms of the Intervention Order need to be varied to allow for the parties to contact each other then an Application needs to be made to the Court.
Such circumstances will commonly arise when domestic partners have somewhat reconciled and they wish to resume contact or live together.
Any time that a party wishes to vary, or revoke an Intervention Order it is generally necessary for the parties to be legally represented as the Court and/or the Police can be reluctant to agree to such changes unless explained fully. |
